Laser Cut
Laser cutting is a beam of radiation coming from the source which is focused, through a lens, on the surface of the sheet to be cut which heats up and quickly melts. At the same time, a flow of gas injected into the laser beam exiting a nozzle located downstream of the focusing lens produces a thrust intense enough to remove the melt, effectively generating the cutting groove. The processing proceeds by moving the laser beam along the desired path or shape.
